Indoor Wedding Venues

Last week, I posted an entry showcasing a few of my favorite outdoor wedding venues.  So I though it'd only be fair if I also showcased a few indoor wedding venues for you to check out.  The Hampton Roads area has plenty of amazing spots to hold your wedding.  Check them out!

Lesner Inn

The Lesner Inn is one of my favorite venues in Virginia Beach. It's an amazing indoor venue with a breathtaking view that makes you feel like you're right on the beach.  Located on Shore Drive at the intersection of the Lynnhaven River and the Chesapeake Bay, it's the perfect location for the couple that wants the beach "feel" to their big day, without being in the sand.  They host both receptions and ceremonies, as well as many other events such as company parties, reunions, etc.  The Lesner Inn showcases both indoor and outdoor areas for your special events.

Virgina Aquarium & Marine Science Center

The Virginia Aquarium & Marine Science Center features both indoor and outdoor spots for your wedding.  However, the indoor ones are definitely unique.  Can you imagine being married with a shark tank behind you?  The pictures you and your guests would have from hosting your wedding in a venue like this one would be incredible.  And best of all, a portion of your rental fee is tax deductible and helps support the animals!

Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art

Another unique venue in the area is the Museum of Contemporary Art in Virginia Beach.  When you reserve one of the unique spaces at the museum, your guests are granted access to the galleries during your event.  There are multiple spaces for you to choose from depending on the feel and size of your event.  The museum is located on eight acres of beautifully maintained gardens close to the Virginia Beach oceanfront.

The Water Table

One of my other favorite venues at the oceanfront would have to be The Water Table.  Not only does it have beautiful views of the marinas at Rudee Inlet, it also showcases a gorgeous fireplace that's the perfect backdrop for a sweetheart table.
