Hey there! My name is Holly Coriell and I’m a 20-something born-and-raised Virginia Beach girl. I started Just Dandy Events in March of 2011 and have enjoyed every step since then. In my spare time I like to read, knit, watch football, craft, hunt, and visit wineries. My boyfriend and my sister are the most important people in my life. My puppy Wyatt is my absolute favorite being in the whole world. I've met some really amazing people along this journey so far, and I can't wait to see what the future holds for JDE.
My goal is to help brides & grooms plan their wedding
to showcase all their dreams….without letting them stress over anything. It makes my heart so sad to hear newlyweds
talk about how great their wedding was, but that they wish they could have just
skipped the "horrible stress of planning." Say
what?! Wedding planning is half the fun of being engaged and should be something they look back on and smile! My goal is to make it that way for each one of my couples. I want to make sure they have fun with the tastings
and the meetings. I want to make sure
they enjoy finding all their vendors and connecting with them. I do whatever I can to make my brides &
grooms look forward to meeting with me, discussing the plans for their wedding,
and being blown away by the final product.
As a wedding coordinator, I do a bit more than just push the bridesmaids down the aisle on time or rally the families for pictures. I try to get to know my couples on a personal level and find out what’s most important to them and what concerns they have for the day. Their wedding day really does go by in the blink of an eye, so it's important to me that they enjoy it to the fullest. I handle all the little details, whether that’s making sure the couple's drinks of choice are always full {no bride should spend her wedding reception in line at the bar} or making sure that the groom’s great aunt is comfortable with the music. The details that the bride & groom don’t {and shouldn’t ever have to} think about.
Just Dandy Events plans more than just weddings though! I have extensive background in fundraising events big and small, as well as baby showers, bridal showers, and birthday parties.
