I just love Halloween...on so many levels!  I can't say a Halloween wedding is my style, but there's something to be said for how much FUN they look like they are!!!  Take a look at a few of my favorite ideas.

I'm a big fan of tradition.  I love classic white wedding dresses.  I love the simplicity of some gowns and the complexity of others.  But sometimes, I really wish I was brave enough to wear one of the incredible more daring wedding dresses you see on the runway.  There's something so bad-ass about not playing it safe and wearing something classic and simple.  Brides with that kind of personality make me smile big time.

Take a look at a few of my favorite unconventional wedding dresses.  What are your thoughts?

When planning the bar for your wedding reception, there are so many options to consider.  Do you want an open bar?  Would you rather have a cash bar?  How about beer & wine?  It seems like the type of bar you choose is one of the bigger decisions you'll make when planning your wedding.  Not because it's a huge deal....because really....it's not.  But because everyone is going to have an opinion about it.  "Open bars are too expensive".  "Cash bars are rude to your guests".  "Beer and wine only?!  I don't drink beer or wine!"

Luckily, there's another option that'll save you a little bit of money and at least try to make everyone happy.  Instead of an open bar, you have the option to have beer, wine, and a signature cocktail!  Signature cocktails are such a fun way to bring a little more attention to your personalities or to the theme or feel of your wedding.  Here are a few of my favorite signature cocktail creations.  Enjoy!

 

Do you know what today is?  Do ya do ya do ya????  IT'S THE FIRST DAY OF FALL!!!!!!!  Easily my most favorite day of all 365!  Eeeeek!

One of my biggest dreams is to have a huge backyard wedding when I get married.  I have the spot picked and I know exactly what I want it to look like.  To me, there's just something so magical about turning an ordinary backyard, where kids play and families have dinner, into a drop-dead gorgeous wedding venue.  It takes skill.  It takes planning.  And it takes a vision.
